NFL Championship Predictions with Bookmaker Odds

This Sunday we find out which two teams will battle it out in Super Bowl XLIV. The AFC championship game is between the New York Jets and the Indianapolis Colts, while the NFC champion will either be the New Orleans Saints or the Minnesota Vikings. I’m taking the Colts to win by 8 or more points in this game. Indianapolis has looked great all season long and Peyton Manning is a proven winner. The Jets defense would need to have a tremendous game to pull off this upset and I believe Manning and the Colts offense will be up to the challenge. I’m taking the Colts by two touchdowns in this game.

I feel this game could really go either way. It will come down to which team can stop the other teams attack. For this reason I’m leaning towards the Vikings in this game because I haven’t been impressed by the Saints defense this year and as the saying goes “defense wins championships”. I would take Minnesota straight up and take the +160 moneyline. If you want to be safer then you can take the 3 points and the spread because I can’t see the Vikings being blown out in this one. So even if they do lose they could still very well be within 3 points.
